Elizabeth Ann Hoefer Klocker (Betty)
October 14, 1934 - June 23, 2018
Elizabeth Ann Hoefer Klocker (Betty) , age 83, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2018.
Elizabeth was born in Stratton, Colorado on October 14, 1934. She went to school at St. Charles academy in Stratton, Colorado, and at schools in Golden, Colorado. Elizabeth married Marcus A. Klocker on January 16,1954. In addition to being a homemaker for most of her life, Elizabeth dedicate her time to the Alter and Society in Rifle and Silt among other charitable works. Her hobbies were cooking, baking, home canning, cake decorating, embroidery and raising - in her words - "too many children" who she loved dearly. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Marcus A. Klocker. Sons; Carl (Sandy) Klocker and Gregory (Rebecca) Klocker. Daughters; Victoria (Steve) Klocker Mace and Kathleen (Brit) Klocker. A granddaughter, April (Williams) Klocker. Grandsons; Carl Franklin, Paul Votruba, and Shawn (Kara) Votruba, and great granddaughter, Angel Williams. She was preceded in death by her two sons; Marcus Klocker lll and Roland Klocker.
A Rosary Service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Legacy Funeral Home, 762 Horizon Drive, Grand Junction, Colorado. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 535 W. 1st Street, Palisade, Colorado. A Graveside Services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Hopewest Hospice.
