Obituary for Jerry Lewis SHERMAN

Jerry Lewis "J" Sherman
June 11, 1964 - April 12, 2021

J Sherman passed away unexpectedly at his home in Grand Junction Colorado on Monday, April 12, 2021.

J is survived by his loving wife, Colleen "Coco" Sherman of Grand Junction, son Matthew (Mandi) Carroll of Denver, Colorado; son Nicholas (Yvette) Sherman of Denver, Colorado, son Jordan (Briget) Sherman; his beloved grandchildren, Rylee, Presley, Torry, and Sawyer. In addition he is survived by his mother, Barbara Sherman of Northglenn, Colorado, sister Sherrie M. of Northglenn, Colorado; Johnny Ray Burke of Denver, Colorado and Herbert (Janet) Sherman of Mead, Colorado, several nieces and nephews and his best friends Mike Moon and Richard Murphy both of Grand Junction. He was preceded in death by his beloved Grandpa, Lewis H. Stilley.

J was born and raised in Denver. He was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest. He spent his adult career as a carpet and flooring engineer and took immense pride in his work. He loved his family more than life itself. His kids and grandkids were the center of his universe. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and a Nascar fan. He loved fishing and the mountains. He was the happiest being outdoors.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 25th at 1:00 pm at Prospect Park located at W. 44th Avenue and Robb Street in Wheat Ridge Colorado.

J will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. Rest easy Papa Bear.
