Joseph F Coca. “Uncle Fred” “Hoso” was born July 25, 1958 was named after his father! He was a
hardworking man who had lots of jobs in his life and had many talent's he lived in Grand Junction, CO
most of his life! He passed away peacefully on September 15, 2018 surrounded by those that loved him
the most in life in the intensive care unit at Community Hospital.He was survived by his wife (Lori), brother (Richard), brother (Kenny), son (Louie), daughter (Celest) grandkids Hailey, Abel, Jax, Cruz, Sophia, Aubrey R, and uncountable nieces, nephews, and cousins. He lived life to the fullest you would always him out doors either working, four wheeling, hunting, fishing, shooting, camping, and traveling! There are many stories of everything he has done in his life that will never be forgotten. Life was never easy from the start to end the hardships of it all got to him until he met the love of his life in 1983 Lori Torrez and everything got clear on July 17, 1989 when his son Louie Coca was born and in August 12, 1994 when his daughter Celest Coca was born! He became the best father he could be always had his family first but he had a huge heart and welcomed everyone in his home!
He married the love of his November 26, 1999 but to him it was 35 years of marriage. Hunting was his passion he taught his son Louie everything he knew to pass it on his grand kids and his nephews and nieces to keep the hunting tradition alive in his family! He had the ability to make friends with anyone cause of his kind heart! He had a smile that could light up a room of people but was never afraid to speak his mind! His son and daughter have his spirit within them and will keep the light of his heart alive and his wisdom he passed down to them! A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am on September 30th at Legacy Funeral Home located at 762 Horizon Drive Grand Junction, CO. Family and friends will be asked to officiate by reminiscing past memories for all to enjoy. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered to Lori Coca at 264 West Parkview Grand Junction, Co 81503.
