Mike and I grew up together and were the best of friends. I lived across the street from him and when they got the first tv I had ever seen you would find us watching cartoons and the Roy Rogers show {who became his hero} in the living room every Saturday morning. With Mike as a friend every day was an adventure of some kind, from catching hundreds of tadpoles and keeping them in wash tubs until they all became hundreds of frogs we were gonna sell. I don't have to tell you there wasn't much of a market for frogs back then. There was always a lot to do around his house. His brothers had homing pigeons, a baby gator in a bath tub and chinchillas in the garage. Mike was like a brother to me. He was always honest. I never met a woman as sweet and giving as his wife Pat and I can't even imagine how much she misses that larger than life man. I pray for her and his family and grieve with them.
