Obituary for Richard P SKINNER

Richard P. Skinner of Grand Junction, Colorado was born in Orlando, west Virginia on October 18, 1935 to Clarence Burton Skinner and Georgia Rachel Gaston. Skinner as he preferred to be called by, was one of seven brothers and sisters; Kathleen, Clarence, Lawrence, Avis, Lillian, and Ralph who was his twin.

Skinner loved to talk and be around everyone. He had a love for the outdoors and fishing, drowning worms he called it. Skinner loved his animals, he would sit and watch them for hours. But his cat Spook was his best buddy. Skinner loved his family more than life itself.

Skinner had three children; Bert, Frank and Avis and Son-in-law Shad. His sons Bert and Frank are twins, and Skinner was proud to be a twin and a father to twins. Bert has four children; Camryn, Jazmin, Malyia and Kaiya. Frank has two children Pryce and Josiah. Avis has seven children; Sharray, Maranda, Montana, Jazz, Lillian, Hunter and Alley. Skinner also has five great grand children; Wendie, Evelynn, Zaylee, Bjorn, Gemma (Jemmy) and #6 is on the way and coming soon.

Skinner will be missed by many who knew and loved him and greeted by all of his family and friends waiting for him. No services will be held for Richard P. Skinner at this time per his request. He quoted "I want everyone to remember me like this alive and living, not like that".

Heaven has a place for everyone, and Skinner was welcomed in on April 22nd 2021.
