Obituary for Stafford Dewayne SUMPTER
Dewayne Sumpter, February 06 1963- April 07 2021
Dewayne passed away at his home in Rifle Colorado on April 7th 2021. He was known to many people- a loving husband-father and grandfather.
He was born in Mountain home Idaho and is survived by his wife Rebecca Sumpter and five daughters; Amanda Sumpter, Ashley Sumpter, Tierra ,Sierra Schaefer, Elizabeth Bond and eleven grand children, and two brothers Danny and Lonnie.
Dewayne was known as sparky to some close friends, and he was a well known handyman. He owned his own company for remodels and landscape and he always was a man of courage and had pride in his accomplishments.
Dewayne will be greatly missed and he is loved by all who knew him.
Dewayne was preceded in death by his mother Alice Jean Hampton and father Johnny Dale Sumpter and his brother Micheal Sumpter.
Memorial is yet to be determined.
