Herman, where to began ole pal ole buddy. We have known each other over 22 years, I figured it up. Been on many many vacations and fun times together. You could always make me laugh. You were so good at making everyone laugh. You didn't met a strangers. I so already miss your marco polo's to me. You always had such encouraging words and always told me that you loved and miss me. I was looking forward to you and Christy coming to stay with me and visit. I miss you terribly but it comforts me that you were a man of God and that you were doing what you loved to do and living your life.

I only got to know Herman for a little over 10 years. In that time I found a man that lived his life as an example and he was truly a good role model. God healed him and gave us a little while longer to have him. I'm thankful that I was blessed in being able to visit him in Colorado and see the beauty there and feel God's breath on top of the mountain. Memories I will forever hold dear. God bless the Polens and I offer my deepest condolences to the family. I love you all.
